The One Thousand Vines Vineyard was planted in 2010 by wine industry veteran Mike Moone with his long time friend and neighbor, renowned vineyard manager Sal Renteria.

The volcanic soil was created by boulders thrown from Mt. St. Helena during its final explosion. This distinct soil type creates a unique Cabernet Sauvignon profile only found in this small area of Napa Valley.
